How to add Real SQL Database to Crystal Report Evaluation version 2008

Hello,

I have installed Crystal Report 2008 and using the Xtream.mdb databsde which is in Access.

I would like to use my own SQL database to learn more about it. Please tell me how to connect the SQL Database so that i can make my own query.

Hi Anamika,

Xtreme is a sample database.

However in order to connect SQL database to Crystal reports you have to setup a connection with the database.

Go to Blank Report and under the 'Available Data Sources' window , expand 'Create new connection' expand 'OLEDB ADO' and select driver for SQL Server as 'Microsoft OLEDB Provider for SQL Server' then select tables and create report.
