Remote backup configuration problem

Hi all,

I have to take quality server backup and my tape drive is connected to dev server,

so what changes i have to make in init<SID>.sap file.

i am using oracle and my OS is win 2003 server.

i had given backup_device_type= pipe but it doesn't work it gives

error that pipe parameter is not for windows.

and what other changes to be made in that file.

plz let me know.
