Looking at the account details report with the tax data I do not see anything there to indicate whether or not the customer is tax exempt. Is there a data source where this information is stored or is there a way to get this extracted? Mass Data Maintenance extracts do not work. My workaround is to turn on data extractions and dump the entire customer base out into an .xml file and then throw that into excel, and then cross reference codes. Just wondering if there is a different more streamlined way for a user to get that information without an admin.
Hi Andrew,
I hope you are doing well, I have performed some research from our side and we found some characteristics and the respective Data Sources which might help you achieve your business requirement, please take a look below:
From our documentation, we could highlight these information that are related to 'Exempt' and that are delivered as standard in the system.
In case the above mentioned characteristics doesn't fit in your business requirement, our recommendation would be to raise a new requirement in our SAP Influence Portal for the Business By Design system. There, our development team as well as other customer would be able to review the proposal of adding this characteristic as a standard object in future releases.
You may access the portal using the following link: https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/campaign/886
In case you decide to follow this approach, kindly confirm this answer and leave a comment below, providing us the Requirement ID, so we can also support your idea in the portal.
