Hi,
Is the WEIGHT GROUP in delivery based on Gross weight or net weight?
Is it calculated at line item level for the purpose of splitting delivery?
Regards
Thank you Shivanand and Gregory for taking time to answer this.
In our scenario, we are sending components to vendor for copacking. In ME2O system splits delivery based on weight group !!!! I am also not too sure on this as I have noticed this only in SOME cases.
What could be the other reasons why system splits the delivery in to two? I have checked the following and it is correctly maintained
a) Based on delivery date
b) Shipping Point
c) Shipping Condition
d) Delivery Type
e) Loading group
f) Route

Hi there,
Yes it is gross weight. Since route is determined at the item level, it is calculated at item level.
But I dont see any standard delivery slipt basing on weight grp. As long as the materials are from same shipping point, to the same customer & on the same delivery date (header data in shipping is same), you will have a single delivery.

Sivanand

Dear Prajith,
The weight is specified is gross weight of all items in the delivery when the route is being determined.
Hope this helps
