Sales Order Batches

Dear All,

we are used to assign batches at the sales order time. Now I would like to print out a list of all the batches related to the sales order. To do that I involve the following table:

ORDR, RDR1, OITL, ITL1 and OBTN

now everything works great until I move one batches from one sales order to another sales order in fact the batch is shown in both Sales Order batches list and this drive me crazy I can't find a way to show just the correct allocated batch.

Do you have any suggestion? What I'm doing wrong?

Thnx in advance

Hi

when you assing a batch to a sales order line, you only relate the batch and the sales document.

You can assing the same batch in several different documents, and this does not delete the relation with other sales orders. I think you are expecting the same behaviour that SBO has in deliveries.

You have to deselect the batch in the sales order before to assign again; or you can block this situation in the Transaction Notification stored procedure.

Kind regards

Hi Augstin and first of all thank you for your answer.

I've to disagree with you based on what I saw until now. When a batch is under a sales order you can't anymore assign it to another one, is true that you still see it, but if you try to get that batch you got a message back informing you that you can't.

In any case when we want to move a batch allocated to an order to another order we always first free that batch and then we allocate it to the other order.

Even doing that, in my batch list I still see the batch that I moved

Best Regards
