    hi,

Very firstly please explain the whole scenerio, whether it is consumable or stock material...

Which mvt type you are using while stock transfers...

But as i assume, check the OBYC transaction and assign the G/L account as per your req. ot the respective key...

    Hope it helps..

    Regards

    • do you still have the problem, or had you just looked for the perfect answer?

And a good answers was already among the replies.

Double clicking an error message gives you in most cases long text to this error, very often with a solution.

Unfortunatly SAP only tells you that you have to allow direct posting, and does not instruct you: "please execute FS01, enter the account that is specified in the error message together with your company code, hit enter , goto the 3rd tab, erase the checkmark from the box "only automatic postings allowed. Save your changes. try the transaction again that gave you the error message".

Another good source for information is the OSS, just use the message number for a search.

and you may find a note explaining it this way:

Error message M7059 is generated during goods movement for the offsetting entry to inventory posting line

M7059 'No direct postings possible to G/L Account &'

      Cause and prerequisites

The offsetting entry to inventory posting account must always allow direct posting. This applies as well to the other posting lines, for which the XPKON field is set in Table T156X (e.g. KBS for a goods receipt for a purchase order with account assignment).
