local settings during creation of a new company

Hi everybody,

I am going to implement SAP Business One in a Malaysian based company, so I went to create a new company, in that window there is a option to select "local settings", but in this countries list "Malaysia" is not appearing.

Can anybody help me, which country I need to select instead of Malaysia in "local settings" or how can I add Malaysia in this list?

Thanks.

Amir, SAP Malaysia would recommend that you setup companies using the ANZ or UK localizations. However, the norm would be to use the ANZ. If you use any other localization, you might come across issues with how the tax / GST is treated.

Thanks Inbal for your reply.

Actually I want to know about other countries' local settings also, so I need a complete list to know which country can be selected for which country local settings.

Can anybody tell me where I can find this list?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Amir,

Malaysia, Indonesia and Pakistan are using the Australia\New Zealand localization.
