How to delete an archived PO from MD04 .

Hello Experts,

Please advise on how to delete an archived PO from MD04 screen. The details are below.

We have a PO if we open the same we can see only one item in ME23n(item 10) and when we display it, the system pops up the message that the PO is already archived and we have no entry in EKKO table. If we look at EKPO table we can see the same PO with items 20 to 70. Now if we look at MD04 for any items from the EKPO table we can see the same PO in MD04 screen. Now how can we remove this archived item from MD04 screen?

If you have still records in EKPO table but no record in EKKO then you have clearly an inconsistency.

If your PO was really archived using transaction SARA then you should be able to find it an archive using the Read button in transaction SARA. If it was archived then you should contact SAP to investigate why the items were deleted inconsistently from the table. Inconsistent deletion happened already for other tables, see OSS note 1557810

If it is not archived then I actually believe someone fooled with hard table updates, and there is no normal transaction in SAP that could clear this situation.

If the PO is completed, automatically, it would have been removed from MD04 and in your case, I presume, it is not the case and hence, the issue. Have a look at OSS Note 740732 whether it helps you.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. Here in our case i couldnt find any history details in EKBE table for the items. And the items which are shown in MD04 are delivery not completed.
