Hi

I have a requirement where i need to publish the epm reports to unix server. the option "publish to BI portal" is grayed out, the oss note 1829916 related to this is not available in support.sap.com. however i tried offline distribution wizard, portal publication and book publication, but none of this serves the functionality. can you please suggest.we need to automate this ,do not want to do it manually. Also would like to know if there is an option to publish the epm reports to BI folder.Appreciate and thanks in advance for your response/help. we are on BPC 10 SP 29 Patch.

Not clear, what is the issue?

The folder on the unix server has to be visible as a network share on the user PC. Then you can use distribution wizard to place report to this share!

Looks like you don't understand me!

Distribution works like this:

1. Report template is in EPM Folder

2. Distribution to folder will use this template, refresh it and save it to network share

3. Network share can be on unix server (Samba)

What is the issue?

Thankyou Vadim for helping out on this, i understood your response. unfortunately network share cannot be mapped/ or cannot be put to/on to UNIX server , that is how our current landscape is. that's why i was trying to know if there is any other work out for scheduling the reports from epm folder to unix server directly.

sorry for the delay in the response.

Sorry, but I recommend to find a better network admin. The current one is useless 🙂
