Dear All,
I have a material master present in my plant XXXX and YYYY.
The base unit of measure is TO.
But for one plant i want to keep order unit for purchasing as TO and for the other plant as KG.
I am finding it not possible.Do anyone can help me in giving some idea on how to acheive this?

Hi,
Activate the variable order unit in purchasing view by setting it to 1 for that field.

Thanx to all of you.
I have maintained the UoM as TO and in the additional data we have maintained 60 PC with 1 TO.
Now i am moving to the purchasing view and gave plant as XXXX and maintained order unit as PC and save it.again i selected the purchasing view and gave plant YYYY,here i am seeing that system has also taken the order unit as PC.If i remove it also the it gets removed from the purchasing view of the other plant. Now how to resolve this?

You can change same in inforecord for certain material-vendor- plant Me11
then order unit entered as above in inforecord will be defaulted in PO

Hi,
You can maintain Order unit as per the Plant level. System will allow you to save the order unit different for different plant.
Purchasing view is maintained at the Plant level not at the client level.
It is possible to maintain order unit different for different plant.

Hi,
The fact is that the 'Order unit' field is at client level (Table MARA) and therefore, is cross-plant setting. The workaround solution is, however, to set it through plant-specific purchasing master data such as contract or info record.
Cheers,

In Material master --> purch view there field Order Unit, you can specify an order Unit Uom There (plant level) .
Maintain the convertion also in mat master additional data --> Uom
