Typical process flow of an order created in Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling in the APO is mentioned below :-
An planned order is created in PP/DS and this information is transferred to the connected R/3 System.
The planned order is then converted into a production order in the R/3 System and informs the APO System of this change.
A change of requirements or the receipt of new orders in APO cause a change in schedule which affects the production order.
This information is once again passed onto the R/3 System.
Once completion of the order has been confirmed in the R/3 System, the orders are deleted from both APO and the R/3 System
