Hello Will,

The latest EHP for ESS is the EHP3.

Actually the EHP4 is planned to start the ramp-up phase on November 2008.

You can find all informations about ERP EHP at https://service.sap.com/erp-ehp

Well, regarding Note 1048386 and the part of the Note you have added here, it is regarding HCM Processes and forms.

It means that if you have this functionality and are using them, the link you use to Start Processes(in the case you wrote.. links that employees are using) are going to change its places, for a more friendly name lets say.

If you want to know what is going to change between one EHP and other, I would suggest you to go over the link https://service.sap.com/erp-ehp as I mentioned before, there you can clarify your doubts about waht is new on each EHP.

If you have a doubt about what each iview can do or how to implement it, functionalities and so on, I would suggest you to go to help.sap.com and look for the specific iview.

I hope I could help.

Regards,

Ricardo

Thanks for all the answers. I think I was after more a couple of things really:

The note made reference to above talks about the iViews listed below being new in the Benefits and Payment Workset:

Benefits and Payment

o Company Loans

o Membership Fees Sports Club

o Status Overview

I have looked at Business Package for ESS 1.31 and can't find any mention of these new iViews.

So the questions I have is Business Package for ESS 1.31 the latest package for ESS?

If so where can I get a .pdf for this BP?

If not what is the latest Business Package for ESS and I suppose MSS as well?

Many thanks

look on http://help.sap.com and select it from "SAP ERP" from top....then "SAP Enhancement Packages" from the side menu. Typically, when installing an enhancement pack(s) , your functional/business analysts are responsible for reviewing all "ehanaced" funtionality and features included in the pack and determining which ones need to be activated (switched on).

Also, check the documentation on service.sap.com as well.

Thanks Chris

Still confused.

Are you able to tell me what is the latest enhancement pack for ESS, the reason for asking is that I'm looking for more details on the new iViews as contained in Note 1048386 see below

Thanks

WB

In the previous ESS Business Package (BP) version, the links for starting processes were provided in the workset Life and Work Events. With EhP2, the links for starting the processes are provided in the workset that the process belongs to thematically (for example, the process 'Change of Working Time' is provided in the workset 'Working Time'). The following list provides an overview over the processes available in the standard system and the worksets they are assigned to.

Benefits and Payment

o Company Loans

o Membership Fees Sports Club

o Status Overview

Working Time

o Change of Working Time

o Status Overview

Own Data

o Change of Address

o Personnel File

o Status Overview

Life and Work Events

o Maternity Leave

o Birth of a Child

o Termination

o Status Overview

The available processes are integrated in the navigation of the ESS Homepage Framework.
