Fiori Application type - Design Studio

Hi All,

Of the different types of apps available at the fiori app library, SAP categorizes them into analytical, transactional and so on. One of these categories is Design Studio.

These apps allow us to analyze data in rows and columns by providing a raw ingredient pool of fields. My question is just about the name - Design studio.

Does this have any connection with the Business Objects tool Design studio?

My assumption is that these are independent but because SAP chose the same name in both places, I wanted to ask if there is anything more to this.
