Deletion of a Personnel no

Hi,

I have a issue that I couldnt delete the employee who has got no action , org.assing.

But the no is generated. I tried using the transacation pu00.

Hi Sekar,

The best way is go to PA30 screen. Select the PERNR. Slelect utilities > delete Personal Number

By this you can delete the Personal number

You can as well use Transaction code : PU00 to delete pernr ( a bit direct step) .

The same tcode is called when you try to delete pernr via pa30 ( PA30-> Utilities - > delete pernr )

Hi Sekar,

You can use the standard program RPUDELPN to delete the employee record. However, if you want to reuse the no., you need to update the corresponding number range accordingly.

Use RPUDELPN program to delete that personnel number permenently.

Simple If U want to do it in a crude way...

Rectify the data in All the infotypes (For which it is not allowed to be deleted) Then delete it.

If U want the Employee number to be reused then I think number range status has to be looked into.(But Carefully)
