WDUMException handler locking threads on Production server after Upgrade

Hello All,

I have used this WDUMException handler in my code while fetching portal userId, But after Production upgrade from EP 6 to EP 7, the production server *threads are getting locked* due to this exception. I can use simple Exception rather than WDUMException but wanted to know the reason of locking at production due to this particular excption .......

Kindly help as I need to resolve it as soon as possible
