Product Classification Remarks or Decision text from Legacy systems

Hello,

Our client has maintained product classification justification text's its more than 250 characteristics, they have maintained this text for all the products in their ERP system, now we are implementing SAP for them, the requirement is to migrate classification text from legacy system to SAP GTS, in GTS product legal control there is field remark or classification decisions, we can use this field for this requirement, the question is how to migrate this text from legacy system to SAP GTS and GTS remark classification decisions field has a limit of 250 characteristics but legacy system text is more than 250 characterstics so there any way we can meet this requirement.

You can also look at attaching a file with this justification text to product classification .

Thanks for your reply Nishant, ya attachment could be one option even we can enable text determination procedure for the classification comments, the challenge here is how to migrate this text from legacy system to SAP GTS.

Good idea. I believe, you need to look for some function which can be used to update classification comments along with the "data loading" of classification. Am not sure if you plan to use mass classification feature of GTS to load the classification data or doing that with the program execution.
