Hi Community,
I'm quite new to SAP and Lumira Discovery, so forgive me if my question could have a simple answer.
However I'm working with some data like this:
time user value
01.2017 a 5
02.2017 a 6
01.2017 b 7
02.2017 b 8
From an .xlsx source.
I would like to look at the time series about them, so I created a line chart like this:
My goal is to have a third time series with the total sum of each point, not splitted in the two user (a,b), in the same above graph (with clearly as points 12 and 14).
Is it possible using the internal functions on SAP LUMIRA without creating new rows or/and columns in the data source?
If so, how?
Thanks in advance for your time and help.
Hi - can you create a calculation in Lumira Discovery to add the two data points?
Since you are new, I recommend taking the free Open SAP Getting Started with Lumira Course - see https://open.sap.com/courses/lum1 - it covers Discovery in depth.
Hi Tammy, first of all thanks.
I've registered to open sap, and I'm taking the course you've suggest.
I've tried to add a calculation, but I've not reached the goal. Have you got any hint in how to write the proper calculation?
(Is it correct that I can answer to your answer only with another answer -sorry for the word pun-?)
Can you share sample data so I can try myself?
