any way out of indent form in system?

Purchase Indent and Stores Indent are missing functionality in SAP B1. You may raise a development request at the "SAP Business One Product Development Collaboration" Forum at the following link

i know that is not available.im asking can we do something wayaround for that. can we use purchase order as indent form used by store department and if it is approved by purchase person it changes to purchase order.means on adding pop up window type comes to purchase person and if purchase person check the box of approval it changes to purchase order for that indent raised.

Please suggest me.is it wrong?

You can follow the workaround that you suggested.

Stores User would generate the PO, which goes for approval to the Purchase Department.

Untill the Purchase Department approves, the PO is in Draft Mode. Once after the approval, PO is added to the System. You can follow this workaround.

Alternatively, you can also use the 'MRP -> Forecasts' to enter the Purchase Indents.
