Time-independent course when using Training and Event Management (not LSO)?

Hi.

My customer is using the old Training and Event Management module. He would like to set up a course that is ongoing, starting from now and open from now on. This course is required for all employees starting at the company.

Until now they have been creating new dates for this course every 3 months and manually adding participants to it (back in time).

I tried to create a course with deliviery method External WBT that is not time-dependent. But when I then create the date for it, it is only open for a day. The start and end date is the same.

Advise would be very much appreciated.
