Hi,

I tried to follow the documentation 'Pricing with Extension Fields', but it seems that i'm missing a step. The specific examples in this document are for Surcharge and Discounts, but what i need are the steps for setting up freight, based on extension field 'Sales Area' drop-down list in the Sales Order general area.

Here's what i've done so far:

1. I've created the extension field, added to extension scenario CRM Pricing Header and Calculate Price - Price List, in further usage service.

2. Added Pricing Table (relevance Item) CUST_SalesArea, Fields 'Sales Area' extn field and 'IncoTerms'.

3. Added in Access Sequence

4. Added Assign Pricing Groups

In Product and Service Portfolio, when i create a new Freight, i can define the 'Sales Area', 'Incoterms' and Amount alright. However, i lost the ability to define a Scale by product weight, i.e. freight amount of $15.00 per 20kg.

Question: How can i properly define a new Pricing Table for freight, using the extension field that i created (Sales Area dropdown) and retaining the Scale by product net weight?

Hello Catherine Guangco,

The scale base is configured in the BC activity: Configure Price Strategy - > Configure Pricing Procedure.

Find price component Freight, you will be able to select Net Weight as the Scale Base Type. This will effect in the custom freight as well.

Kindly try it.

Rgs,

Adie
