Create new Types of Corrections

Hi Guys

How do i create a new type of correction in Solution Manager. The reason I need this is because there are certian types of changes that happen in a system and although it is a "Change" it does not create a transportable object eg number range change. We would however like this change to follow the route of ChArm but it would have less tasks. Also I need to add more task to the task list of a correction for eg when a new change request is created I would first like it to go to a businees analylist before it gets approved by the change manager as he needs to create a business and functional spec before it gets approved by the change manager. So is it possible to create a "Special type" of correction?

what do need the task list for when you will not create any transports?

Anyway, it is possible to create own transaction types. Even ones without connection to ChaRM, just having the approval workflow.

You need to copy/create your own transaction type via customizing. Copy status schema, partner schema and so on. In tx: SPRO - Reference IMG search for "Transaction Types" in section "Change Request Management". You will find all necessary steps and information there.

If you need task plan / schedule manager assignement you will have to have a look at "Change Transaction Types", too.
