Unable to add a new segment to existing custom Idoc type at desired position

Hi Experts,

I am trying to add a new segment to an existing IDoc type created in ECC 4.6. However, it is adding the new segment at the top , but I want to position it at the end. Could you please guide me on how to achieve this.

the requirement is not to add a new segment to an existing segment but add a segment to a parent segment as a child.

Hi,

I will try to explain it with example

Parent1-> Child 1

Parent2 -> Child1

Parent2-> Child2

Here child 1& Child2 belongs to same parent segment i.e. Parent2. It doesn't matter whether Child2 is first & Child 1 is 2nd as both are at same hierarchy level.

Thanks for your reply. But, I think it would give a syntax error when we fill the idoc data as they have to be filled in the sequence. This is used for sending material details to other systems from a very long time. So i donot want to disturb that setup, but add a new segment in the end so that the extra data can be sent.
