HI....

Please suggest me the best way...

In our buisness process we are creating a purchase contract with vendor. with reference to that we are creating a purchase order but while good recept we are getting goods +/- 5% ,so that i have maintained tollerence of 5% in GR. but my client need that the excess quantity of good is also refelect in PO also so that with the help of ABAP person i created a Z program of ME21n to ZME21n and modified the message no M8 393 ,so finally that i will get the result as my client require ,,,,

please suggest me that whatever the process i fallowed is suggestable or not

Dear Suleman,

your modification is correct because if you do some tolarance setting than it will not allow above that Qty.

If it all also Like In PO -item -delivery -unlimited (deselect) it will allow all the Qty u enter in the GR, but will not update PO Qty.

hi,

You would have used the tolerance key B1 for your req....but as per your scenerio, its better to use the key B2 only...by which you will be able to post the goods for more qty as well as a system gives a Warning message and will send an email to the respective person...

Check OMC0 transaction, so inside it after choosign d co. code...enter the upper and lower limit as per your req...

Hi,

You can maintain the tolerance limit in Material master itself. This tolerance limit will be reflected into the PO (Ordered quantity - 100 KG / Tolerance + / - 5%). You will then be able to post GRN within this limit.
