Can i change the length of userdefined field in transaction OPEC?

Hi all

Can i change the length of userdefined field V_TCN00-SWRT0 in transaction OPEC?

The current length is 15 now...the field name is TCN01-SWRT0

I need to the length of this field is around 30 characters...

Is there anyway i can do this thru config? or it should be done thru any exit by abaper?

hi,

No you cannot change the length of the table by any means in SAP.

But how can i get the field into 30 characters...

As you said SAP will not allow but...is there anyway we can add Z field to the table and use it or anykind of suggestion?
