BOE XI 3.1 on HP-UX Itanium

Hi,

Has anyone successfully deployed XI 3.1 on HP-UX Itanium?

Any issues or experiences you can share would be wonderful.

Hi,

Yes, I'm currrently working on an issue.

Deployement scenario: BO Enterprise 3.1 on HP-UX (IA-64)

When I go in InfoView >> Dashboard and Analytics setup, I get an error message: "There is no AA Analytics Server available. Contact your BusinessObjects administrator to verify server status. AA2213"

Inside CMC:

Comparison among installation BOXI3.1 on Windows platform and HP-UX (IA-64) platform,on Windows platform everything work fine,and there are 9 servers(under PM category)available, but there are only 3 servers on HP-UX (IA-64)

Any suggestion is appreciated.

Performance Management (or PM) isn't supported on HP-UX Itanium. You need to use Xcelsius instead.

Ignore my previous message. I just now checked that PM servers are not supported on HP-UX(IA-64). But could you tell me why it still states that "Dashboard Builder" is supported?

You need to set up the login and password inside the Dashboard piece. Also keep in mind the traditional Performance Management (aka application foundation) is not supported on HP UX.
