residual production orders

Dear Sap Gurus

Suppose I got a sales order of 250kg and with that ran MRP and a planned order of 250kg is generated I converted it to production order.Then while goods reciept I suppose received 240kg through mb31 and 101mvt type.now the system will create automatically a production order of 10kg. Now if I want erase this

10kg production order what to do

Sandip,

If you do not need that prod order then you can just Technically close the order. System will install TECO status on the order.

Also if you do not want MRP to generate additional planned order, you can go for tolerance limits for the sale order. That way you can avoid new planned orders being created by MRP.
