    Hi,

    The error is clearly shown.

No 'default' JDK defined, will use running VM.

    .

    .

    Using Ant version: 1.6.2

    .

    .

as of release 1.5, 'enum' is a keyword, and may not be used as an identifier

javac ERROR: (try -source 1.4 or lower to use 'enum' as an identifier)

Use JDK of 1.4 or below for this project since enum may not be used as identifier with JDK 1.5 and above. Since u haven't defined JDK to be used, it is by default building the project using ANT with version 1.6.2. To resolve this issue, build this project with version less than 1.5 or change the code compatible to 1.5. To change the default JDK used, go to Windows -> Preferences -> Java -> Installed JREs.

    Regards,

    Harini S

OK I see by this "UnsupportedClassVersionError" the project is being compiled in a different version of Java than it's being run in. Here is the problem as I see it.

Under Windows->Preferences->Installed JREs I have selected jre j2sdk1.4.2_16. It says the checked JRE will be used by default to build and run Java programs. To ensure it is using this version I have removed all other java versions.

However when I acutally build the project I ALWAYS get this:

No 'default' JDK defined, will use running VM.

      Creating Ant build file..

      Starting Ant..

      Using build file: ..ep_wma\_comp\gen\default\logs\build.xml

      Using build target: build

      Using Ant version: 1.6.2

Why will it not build in using the default JDK?

Harini S - almost had it only it appears just setting the one as default wasn't enough. I actually had to remove the other references to get it to work correctly
