Connecting Jconsole to monitor local java process

Hi All ,

I'm planning to monitor the java memory consumption of APS services using Jconsole.(SAP BO 4.2). But I'm not able to connect to any local SAP BO java process as all the options are greyed out.(Except the default Jconole process).

I've started the APS with the following cmd line.

-Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.authenticate=false -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.ssl=false -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.port=1616

But still all the options are greyed out.

And default JMX agent is configured and BO monitoring in CMC is running successfully.

Please guide me in connecting to local java APS.

Thanks,

Manhoj

Hi Denis,

The services which are using java (All APS services) are grayed out and not able to select any thing except the Jconsole process.

The port number which we're using is unused so no issues with that.

Thanks,

Manhoj
