Work Item does not appear in Inbox

Hello Everybody!

I started a workflow normally, but the workitem does not appear in inbox! (It's a DECISION task) The notification appears normally...

I already looked the SU01 user parameters and WF_BATCH parameters, apparently is all right, but I can't see the workitem.

Anybody already had a problem like that???

Does anybody know the BASIS resolution?

I'm having the same problem.

I'm a bit disappointed the original poster did not share the answer.

Hi All,

I had the same problem.For me in SWI5 it is showing

Not reserved by an agent.

what should i do now.

Check with the Basis consultant that did any body changed the password of the WF-BACTH user ,

it might happen some times if the user password is changed then the workitems do not reach to the Inbox

I have the access in SU01, there is any specific password to this user???

And check deos he have the role SAP_ALL is associated with this user

Execute the Txn

SWUA and check whetehr are you abel to receive any work item or not , if you are not able to receive any workitems then it is COnfiguration problem [check this|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/a0/28e937a5caba6ee10000009b38f842/content.htm]

I already started the Verification Workflow (SWUA), and I didn't receive the workitem too.

I read the SAP Help Automatic Workflow Customizing and already done all things...

I think I have no more options... I never saw a thing like this!

See if you are not able to recevie any wrok item then it is problem with the WF-BACTH user settings

I hope you are trying to login with the SAP User Id to whom the workitem is with. Also try to check from SWI5. Also you should check in Workflow log that after you click on agent icon the popup box displays an inbox sign after the SAP User Id.

Hi Marcos!

In the workflow, have you assigned an agent to the decision task? Also, have you marked the task as 'General Task'. Once you have assigned the agent and marked the task as 'General' you should be able to see the workitem in the agent's inbox.

It's assigned as READY and there are 2 agents assigned!

I already looked in SWU3 and everything is normal, I started a Verification Workflow and the WI didn't appeared too... And in the Workflow Log (Technical Details) the step is green and the last action is Dialog work item created

Are you checking the workitem in Portal inbox or SAP R/3 inbox? Also, what do you see in SWI5?

SAP R/3 Inbox (SBWP).

I opened the SWi5 and I took nothing from there! Nothing about my workflow.

What do you suggest?

And your user is one of these agents?

If you can see in WF log that your user is one of the agents, but you don't see the item in workplace and neither in SWI5, it seems that your user is not of the possible agents for the task. Are you absolutely sure that the decision task is a "general task"? And have you executed transaction SWU_OBUF to refresh the buffers?

Did you used a standard task or a customer task for the step? Did you check in the same client or is it a test client?

Also try to run RH_LOCAL_INBOX_GET and see if the workitem is being picked.

Yes! I'm sure of all...

make sure that the agents have 'US' appended to their values.

eg: if the agents are 'DEV1' and 'DEV2' then while passing these values to the task agents their values should be 'USDEV1' and 'USDEV2'.

The container is a SWHACTOR structure and the US is there, I'm sure of it too...

I think you should try to check the workitem id in table SWWORGTASK and SWWUSERWI and check what is the User Assigned.I hope the user id is not excluded

I'm have all the Logins and from ABAP2, ABAP3 and ABAP5.

Can be this a problems caused by a Support Pachage???

This is a TEST client and was working until 3 months ago.
