SQ01 / SQ02 Query and Dataset - Transport to QA and Production

I am, for the first time, developing a Dataset and Query that will be moved to Production, and I am not able to get the actual Dataset and Query to transport.

I am able to Download and then Upload the information from our development system (ED100) to our development testing system (ED140), but when I want to transport it to our QA client (EQ300), using the Export and Import function, the transport does not create the dataset and query in QA.

I have also tried SE03 with R3TR AQQU <query name>, and then having that transport imported by Basis into QA, but that also fails to create the Dataset and Query. Please help. This is an urgent user request.

Like Jelena, we also use download/upload, but that is for local queries

You should be able to do transport when your query is in the cross-client query area

Go to SQ02

Click the truck icon

Enter desired infoset, query to transport

You will also need some type of developer access to do this.

We use download/upload to move the queries to Production, we don't use transports. But from your post it's not clear what exactly is the issue. How exactly did you create the transport? What do you see in the transport? What does "fails to create..." mean exactly? Do you get no messages in the transport import?

I don't believe you can just brutally transport the generated report, that would not make sense.

Add more information and post the screenshots.
