Hello!
A software I am currently installing on a Windows Server 2016 machine in the cloud (it's a virtualized environment) tries to communicate with ADS via LAN-Port 6262 and it fails to do so.
Do you have any experience with handling communication in a virtualized environment?
Thanks in Advance
Which software? Port 6262 (tcp?) is open? (local netstat on ADS verifies this)
First, check naming resolution to ADS.
Then, use a simple telnet or putty, to check if you can reach the remote host port:
telnet.exe <ADS-host> 6262
Connection established? Not? Then it's a firewall or missing ACL on the way from the Windows Server 2016 VM to the ADS.
Best regards,
Kalle
