Org unit - ESS HR

Hye All?

CAn organizational Unit be displayed in ESS.

In "WHo is WHO" under Department we have Organizational Unit: indicating an org unit with hyper link. when I click on it I get an empty page with following message

Page not found or not available

Can anyne give me some feedback on it.

Hi,

In SAP Who's who setting related to employee search in Enterprise portal. Using that servise we can very will display Org unit in EP, pl ask your Portal person for doing config and check EP & R3 connections and the url assignment.

Dear Sir,

Can you please elaborate in detail. whcih services to be activated.MY employee search is working perfectly fine but when I go in detail of employee readng data from infotype 0032 in org unit side I am unable to view the orgunit for which employee belongs too.

In whos who

you get to see the org unit of the employee. The name of the org unit is a link.If you click on it, the org structure opens up

SAP LEARNER the information you are tellling me I am already aware of it and i really apprecite your answer.

The problem is when I click on the link a blank page will open indicating no data available.

blank page not necessarily mean NO data available.. u may get blank screen if you dont have proper authorisation as well....

check your portal roles for ESS/MSS

First see whether this employe has been hired for a position or the position id in infotype is just 99999999

Make sure EMPLOYEE_ORGCHART_SERVICE05 is available under tcode SPRO-cross application components - HomePage framework-resources-Define Resources-

and check whether pcd location is correct or not in that resource
