tax code in MIRO

Dear all,

When posting in the T-code: MIRO, I get an error message saying 'G/L account 106001 is not defined in company code C008'.

We don't have this issue before version upgrade.

I have checked in transaction ftxp, I see that there is an entry for tax code V0 with account code 106001, and I can confirm that account 106001 does not exists in C008.

My question is that, before upgrade, we can perform MIRO for C008 without error but after upgrade, the error message occurred.

Anyone help on this issue?

Thanks

Sunny

upgrade from which release to which release?

already checked for OSS notes using the message number as search term?

it can be that your old release had a bug which was never fixed and the fix came in with the upgrade

it can be that the upgrade brought in a bug as a site effect from other bug fixes

It can be that the new release has new logic in the programs which requires data which was not there and not needed in earlier releases.

By itself would SAP usually not find or suggest an account 106001, so it must be there in your customizing of account determination. So the question is mainly why is it used in customizing when it is not maintained as master data for a certain company code?

Or is this company code just new and the master data was not extended yet?
