Account assignment mandatory for material

Good day!

I have created a PR for an inventory material and I encountered this message: "Account assignment mandatory for material 100 (enter acc. ass. cat.)". What could be missing in my material configuration?

Hi,

It is the material type setting in OMS2 transaction (for which your material master was created) where the 'quantity update' and 'value update' indicator checkbox was not flagged for your related plant location.

check to SPRO-Logistics - GeneralBasic Settings-Material TypesDefine Attributes of Material Types

check your material type and plant combination for the qty and value update (it must be ticked), otherwise when creating a PR or PO it will ask for acc assignmment.
