    Hi

You have to create data slice in BPS0 only but you can activate / deactivate them dynamically in BPS.

    Please go through the document

    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/e096f9be-ca48-2b10-51af-9a7d4ac0f159

    Hi,

There are 2 tables which store information regarding the data slices - UPC_DATASLICE and UPC_DATASLICET.

In the planning function, search for your planning area and dataslice name, which you want to activate or deactivate, in the table UPC_DATASLICET and retrieve the SORTORDER field from the table. With this SORTORDER and the planning area, search in the table UPC_DATASLICE and retrieve the field INACTIVE. If its X, that means the dataslice is inactive. If its blank, the data slice is active. Accordingly you can change the status of that field and again store it in UPC_DATASLICE table.

    Hope this helps.
