The volume of the attached documents in e-recruiting is growing exponentially by gigabytes daily.

It appears that each time a candidate applies to a position, all of the documents attached to the profile are u201Ccopiedu201D

Is there anyway, where we can create a reference to the attachments (created in the profile), rather than copying it everytime the candidate applies for a job

How do we limit the size of the attacments

There is a BADI for the same HRRCF00_DOC_UPLOAD method

CHECK_ATTACH_FILE_SIZE.

Hello,

attachments which are part of the candidate profile are not copied if the candidate applies several times. Only thing which exists several times is the typed in cover letter which is also stored in KW.

Could you check your system again to determine where the huge groth of data results from? Best to start with IT 5134 (HRP5134) there you can see for which objects attachments exist.
