Supply Area to production line

Dear Guru's,

Users intend to use Kanban system. We have prepared case where material moves from Storage location to production supply are on shop floor. But how to move from supply area to work center i.e. goods issue to production order. We use discrete manufacturing i.e. production order.

Thanks for the kind feedback.
Just based on the screen shots, it seems, you are trying to perform the stock Transfer using the KANBAN.

1). Is it between the IM Storage Location ?, Is it so, Please take a look of the attached screen how, it looks like

If still facing the problem, please describe the sequence of steps, that you are following & at which point, it is not working

If I understood correctly, you are trying to do the Goods issue from the Supply Area.
If tis is the Case, you can assign the Supply Area, to the Work Center. Then you need not to do the goods issue again from Supply area to the Work Center, as a Separate step. Please assign the Supply area, in the Work Center Basic data tab, as shown below, then the system will take care of the Goods issue automatically.

Please let me know, what is not working/what is the issue, that you are getting in detail ?
Kindly share the screen shots of the supply area details. that was created & also, the storage locations maintained for that Supply Area. Share the details of the work center, for which you are planning to get the automatic Goods Issue
