Notification causes need tobe deleted

Dear Expert,

We are not using some of the Catalog type options in Cause field of the Notification screen, when I tried to delete them in DEV, the system says that " the Catalog type is being used" and cannot be deleted.

As per SAP

In the deletion process, the system checks whether the code group is being used. If there is no link to the code group, then it is deleted. If there is a link, then you cannot delete the code group.

When the catalog entries code and code group are first used, a usage indicator is set. This prevents these objects from being accidentally deleted.

so just change the status of the code group as Can no longer be used
