Can Performance of UOM Conversion in HANA Calculation Model be improved?

Hi Everyone,

We have tried implementing UOM conversion of an Ordered Quantity using 2 methods
1) By using inbuilt UOM conversion option in top most Aggregation Node (Used Quantity in weight unit)

2) By joining MARM to VBAP and further picking up Numerator and Denominator (Used UMZIZ and UMZIN to convert Ordered Quantity in Sales Unit to base unit and further converted to required Alternate Unit using MARM)

First method has taken 10 times more than that of second method.

Will there be any performance issues when we try using Inbuilt conversion option?
How can we improve the performance of first method?
