How to add additional views to material types.

Hi,

As per the SAP Standard there are some standard views which is applicable to Material types are available as per the Material types in OMS2.

If you need some more views there 2 options

In OMT3R you need to modify the Standard sequence 01 and can include the other views which is avaiable.

then in OMT3B you can modify the main data screen & sub screens.

then in OMS2 you will get the additional views to include in your Material type.

Otherwise you can take a help of ABAP consultant to include the addtional views through the modification in the Program and can achieve it.

Go to OMS2 and Select your Material type and there is a Tab called User Departments here You can add Material Views and Save.

if u want std views available ,but not viewable in perticualr mat type then u can go to OMS2 and double click the material type u want to add views

ex ROH double click on it then at right side u will get the list of views fromhere u can select the additional view

Use OMS2 transaction and select the material types and add the views which ae not appearing in MM01.

Check the transaction OMT3B and its assignment material type in OMT3E...

Also check OMT3R...for Maintain order of the main and additional screen....

Also take the help of ABAP consultant, if req..
