MIC of type Date

Hi All

I would like to record the date of recording in the inspection lot against an MIC and then transfer this value to the lot.

However i am not able to define MIC of type Date.

Any ideas on this.

Hi Tom,

We cant define a MIC as date type.It will be either Quantitative or Qualitative,then only the MIC shall be validated.So your case you need to create an MIC as Qualitative and give the date in text field (Insection description).You have consider your reports also before fixing the field.

Hi TOM,

Just posturing the solution give by Lenin in details.

-Created an MIC as "Mfg Date".

- Attached in Inspection plan, as Quantitative MIC. Didn't entered any Limits to it.

- In the result recording screen, the is field named as "Inspection Description", technical name "PRUEFBEMKT". Where it allow us to insert a free text up to 40 Characters.

- To make this mandatory while result recording, keep the Control indicator, "Documentation Required" active in the second page of the control indicator, for the MIC
