Cost Element Deletion

Hi All,

I created a g.l as cost element & pass an entry in that.

Now I m trying to delete this cost element in t.code # KA04 but it is giving error that "deletion is not possible, dependent records exists in table COEP"

please help

    With existing data you cannot delete the master data but if the cost element should not exist in CO then it can make sense to delete the posting.

    After posting to cost element, you won't be able to delete it in the relevant validity period. You can prevent using it in the future, by deleting its future validity period, but the master data will stay.
