A key for calculating depreciation amounts.
The depreciation key controls the following for each asset
and for each depreciation area
(1)Automatic calculation of planned depreciation
(2)Automatic calculation of Interest
(3)Maximum Percentage for manual depreciation.
Without depreciation key it is impossible to caliculate and post depreciation.
Depreciation key includes various parameters accordrding to business requirement.
Business usually needs more than 1 depreciation key according to their asset class such as Building/Plant/Computers etc.,
