Hi ,

I am trying to connect a NON SAP system with SAP PO7.4. I have done the necessary changes and the outbound communication from SAP PO to NON-SAP is success now.

But I am still facing issues in the inbound connection from NON-SAP system to PO.

I have setup the "jco.allow_non_abap_partner = 1" in system VM parameters

Can anyone help where to set the parameter “-Djco.allow_non_abap_partner=1” as VM argument?? to enable this communication.

Regards,

Dhivakar.

Hi Dhivakar,

You need to set the JVM parameter in configtool.

cluster-data - template - instance - VM Parameters tab - Additional tab.

Afterwards the Java server needs to be restarted.

Best regards,

Antal

This is done and still not working. To make sure everything is okay. We have again restarted the system.

Still no use.

Anyhow Thanks for your prompt answer.

Hi Dhivakar,

You may face another issue, I recommend setting the JCo trace level to debug (com.sap.mw.jco, com.sap.conn.jco) in NWA log configuration and checking what happens with the RFC calls.

Best regards,

Antal

When we checked the logs of the external system its shows, RFC connection rejected.

But for the same connection from SAP to External is working. Do you think this log configuration could still trace this one?

If you find this entry in the Java sever logs:

com.sap.conn.jco.JCoException: (104) JCO_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE: Communication with non-ABAP RFC clients is not allowed

then you need to set the mentioned JVM parameter. You can check in dev_server0 file if the JVM parameter is set or not.

Best regards,

Antal

Hi Dhivakar,

As per my understanding , you need to contact your Network Team.

Also , what is the error you are getting while connecting?

This is a RFC communication which is open in our network for any systems.

The issue is the request from Thrid party doesn't even reach our system.
