how create a wage type and how we will assign to G/L account.

Hi,

For creating a new wagetype ,

Go to

SAP IMG-> personal management-> personal administration- payroll data- create wage type.Create wagetype by copying wagetype model

Or you can use transaction code -OH11.

For assigning to GL,you need to create symbolic Account,Please see my answer in the below thread.

Hi,

If you wanr create the wage type for any Infotype go for OH11 or Pu03 after select the wage type group then immediately list of wage types will come and copy the wage type from any standard wage type.

If you want create the custom wage type mean without copy the wage type go for V_512W_T in this table you can give 4 characters no or character assign the dates and description and save the entry.

But here difference is there to copy the wage type to custom wage type. why mean to copy wage type already maintain the PC, CC, EC but for custom wage type you need to create the everythin like PC, CC, EC.

To assign the wage to G/L account. already it is done to copy wage types. If you want move the wage type to another G/L account by the time you need change the A/C no.

If you create the custom wage type, you have to specify the this wage type to post the which symbolic account. You need to specify.
