Weight calculation in delivery

Hi All,

Here my issue is as follows,

In Oubound delivery,system is picking only the total weight of the matreial.System is not considering the weight of the packing materila used.

For example total weight of the materil is 200000 where as the weight of the packing material is 20000

total weight in the delivery should be shown as 220000.

But in my case it is showing only 200000only the weight of the material.

Can any one help me in this regard.

Hi,

You have to maintain weigh parameters in Packaging Material master data ,throgh MM01 T.code but using Material type as VERP-Packaging Material.

Dear Vinod,

Make sure that you have done the packing through handling units in the delivery.

Make sure that you are maintaining the weight in the packing material master data.

But will we maintain the master date of the packaging materil in the material master or do we have any other T-code for maintaining the master data.

It ideally will reflect the weight of material only, incase Handling Unit is not being used. If Handling Unit would be used it would sum up the 2 weights.
