Below is one of SAP Notes referring to this feature:

1255769 - How to create a custom page size within Crystal Reports 2008

    Symptom:

What are the steps needed to create a custom page size within Crystal Reports 2008.

    Resolution:

    1. Open Crystal Reports 2008 and click on the File | Open option and choose an existing report.

    2. Go to the File | Page Setup option, activate the check box (Dissociate Formatting Page Size and Printer Paper Size) and where the Horizontal and Vertical size is, manually change these values to the desired height and width of the report. Note: The paper size will now be listed as u2018User Defined Sizeu2019

    3. Click OK and the new page size will be seen in the Design mode and Preview mode of the report.

I am using Crystal Report XI Release 2 and I do not see 'Dissociate Formatting Page Size' in Page Setup dialog. Does anyone have suggestion? This option will vastly help me because I am designing a report to display 60 columns and they cannot fit into one A3-sized paper.

To me this checkbox helped me solve the increased margin problem discussed here
