Difference between Date KF and Current Date in BEx

Sorry for this question but even though I've search and already found lots of stuff on this subject, I still can't figure out how to proceed except by a Customer Exit which I have no clue how to perform.

I have a Formula that add days to a date attribute of my material master. Thus, I have two variables to perform this trick. Now, I'd like to subtract the current date from this formula. I've read a lot of post mentionning the 0DAT SAP Variable. I can see that variable under a 0CALDAY characteristic within my Info Cube but I am not able to use this variable in my formula I'm trying to create as it is not being shown. It seems that I can only use this variable to create a restricted Key Figure which is not what I'm looking for.

Can't beleive SAP were not able to add a simple function like TODAY() ... Why doing thing a simple way when you can do it much more complex hey 😉

So, is the only solution being to create a customer exit variable? If so, anyone can explain me the steps required?

    Try this:

Create a formula for date difference: current day(sap exit variable) - (date from material)

create another variable with replacement path to get date from Material

Eg: current date - date from material

    Check: [Dertive Variable|]

    [Replacement Path|]

    Hope it Helps
