Record Working Time Customization

Hi

I am new to ESS and portal, I am into a CA-TS customization project, can some body help me in guiding how to start customizing the CATS webdynpro, issues and challenges in customizing,

really appreciate if some body provides me with any stepbystep document, thanks in advance

Hello,

For Customizing CATS Webdynpro you need to setup NWDI ...create Track for ESS ...then import the track as Development Configuration file in the Netweaver Developer Studio....and then start customizing the Webdynpro....

thank you very much for your qucik and helpful response, we are customizing, record working time it self, wat are the issues and challenges in doing that is there any document regarding that component modification, do you have any idea, after importing the track what dc we need to edit for record working time,

The DC you have to modify is the ess~cat Webdynpro...I don't think so there is any document to modify it....but you have to understand the architecture of the webdynpro application and make changes accordingly....the issues and challenges depend on the type of changes you are making ....
