CRM2007 vs CRM5.2

I just wanted to know if there is any functionality that works in CRM2007 and doesnt in CRM5.2 or vice versa. Reason i am asking is because i was working on action profiles in CRM5.2 and triggered a workflow using that and it worked. When i tried replicating the same process in CRM2007, it doesnt work at all. Just workflow gets triggered but start condition is failed, i am not recognixed as possible agent and so on. Any reason why this is so?

    Hi Nisha

In General CRM 2007 will have loads more functionality than CRM 5.2.

I'll be immensely surprised if functionality has been removed.

I'd recommend reviewing the Best Practices guides.

Please pay particular attention to C04 as it has alot of detail on authorizations and roles, be sure to have role Power User assigned to yourself.

Take note that a lot more configuration is now done in the Ui not via SAP GUI

Also take a look at the central note for CRM 2007:

    Note 1229931

    Hope this helps
